She writes about emissions reporting, greenwashing, renewable energy planning, biodiversity, and the gap between what companies say in sustainability reports and what the data actually shows. She can read a Scope 3 inventory faster than most people can explain what Scope 3 means. Iona lives near Inverness. She thinks "net zero by 2050" has become a thought-terminating cliche, and that most corporate climate strategies are better at generating PDFs than reducing carbon.
